I had bought a really nice quality, no name brand sub/amp combo with passive speakers on both sides. One of the passives started coming unglued from the foam ring, which drastically reduced the bass from not being airtight. I ordered this since buying a replacement was impossible. I don’t remember what I paid for this, but it was a great value being able to fix the passive speaker. I cleaned everything the needed gluing and applied and ran a bead around the of the speaker on the back side and let it dry for 24 hours. The product doesn’t have a bad smell and the smell it does have when applying goes away when it dries. Would definitely recommend it for speaker repair and possibly some repairs on my RC cars.

E6000 works on almost anything. Those who gave bad reviews most likely did not prep the surface, waited too long before joining, did not allow enough curing time, etc. The precision tips are a good feature, but the 1 oz tube is small.

I don’t have much experience in the world of glues, but I do have a tea pot whose tiny handle on the lid has been falling off of periodically for about twenty years. Now my husband used to glue that handle back on for me and after a while it would fall off again. I didn’t keep tabs on what product he was using or his method. But, alas, he’s now gluing tea pots for his new girlfriend, so I’m flying solo in the tea pot lid department. I read a lot of instruction, ingredient lists and reviews and settled here, with E6000. I wound up not using the precision tip for this project; I figured a toothpick would suffice. I mean, the handle is just a little blob and didn’t require any real precision in the application. I did apply petroleum jelly, as suggested, to the threads of the glue tube lid with a Qtip, to prevent the lid from being glued shut when I tried to open it again for my next, or possibly the same repeated, project. And I let the lid sit for a full 72 hours to cure, suffering through several lidless pots of tea. And that was three weeks ago. And the glue is holding! What the heck. I thought the heat and the steam and the moisture would pose serious longevity problems. But the E6000 has proved itself. And if the handle pops off again, well, I’ve got a whole tube left to glue it back on. Yes, I am satisfied with my purchase and my adventures in gluing.

This glue does it all. Gluing something in a snow globe? This glue can handle it. Outdoors? No problem. Baking in the sun? No problem. Heavy constant use? Your item will wear out before this glue does. A+++++
